Disco dancing all the way from both the theatre
meccas in the world, Broadway and West End, Saturday Night Fever is one of the most loved dance stories of all
time, packed with hits from the Bee Gees, the legendary disco choreography, the
glittering costumes and retro hairstyles, in all its groovy glory—amid the
dramatic backdrops of New York, the Manhattan skyline and the pulsating strobe
lights of the infamous retro '70s disco era.
Premiered in the West End at the London Palladium in
1998 and Broadway at the Minskoff Theatre in 1999, the spectacular musical Saturday Night Fever has been seen by
over 10 million people with over 2,800 shows in more than 20 countries across
the globe including Italy, Argentina, Japan, Australia, Germany, Greece,
Netherlands, Sweden, Spain, South Africa, Czech Republic and Finland; thrilling
theatre and music buffs alike throughout the years. As one of the longest
running musical, Saturday Night fever is still actively on world tour up to
this very date ; bridging the young and old with a common interest of a
fantastic musical performance.
The Saturday
Night Fever 2015 Asian Tour ; being its first in eleven years sees a gathering
of a formidable and first rated creative team to deliver the very best of musical experience to the ardent fans. This
includes multi-award stage director Bobby Gracia, Tony Award winning scenic
designer David Gallo and TINA Award choreographer Vince Pesce and not to forget the talented technical director
Richard Martin who has personally worked alongside the legendary Cameron
Mackintosh on many of Andrew Lloyd
Webber’s productions. The musical will
be headlined by hugely talented castsand musicians who will be performing a
repertoire of Bee Gees’ cult classics such as “Stayin’ Alive”, “Night Fever”,
“More Than A Woman”, “Tragedy”, “Disco Inferno”, “How Deep is Your Love”, and
“You Should Be Dancing”.

Saturday Night
Fever tells the story of Italian-American Tony Maneroand his gang in Bay
Ridge, Brooklyn who are stuck in dead-end jobs but rule the dance floor at the
discotheque 2001 Odyssey. Tony is a tough cookie; an outstanding dancer, his
ultimate dream was to escape the mean streets of Brooklyn.
Every Saturday night, Tony donshis flares and struts
his stuff; capturing all eyes through his stylish moves on the dance floor. He
has only one ambition in life - to become the disco king. When he meets
Stephanie, who also dreams of a world beyond Brooklyn, they decide to train
together for a dance competition and their lives begin to change forever.

David Gallo,
Scenic Designer
David is an American scenic designer, media, and
projection designer for many Broadway and international productions, animated
features, television specials, and arena shows.
He won the 2006 Tony Award for Best Scenic Design, Drama Desk Award,
Outer Critics Circle Award, and Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for
Outstanding Set Design for his work in “The Drowsy Chaperone”.
Tara Rubin,
Casting Director
Tara has been a casting director for 25 years. She
has cast “Mamma Mia!”, “Jersey Boys”, “Spamalot”, “Les Miserables”, “Miss
Saigon”, “The Phantom of the Opera”, “Promises, Promises”, “Shrek”, “Billy
Elliot”, and “Young Frankenstein” among others.
She has been a casting director for Yale Repertory Theatre for eight
years and has worked with many regional theaters across the United States. She
has graduated from Boston University and a proud member of the Casting Society
of America.
Vince Pesce,
Choreographer
Vince recently won a TINA Award for his choreography
in the Off-Broadway production of Abraham Lincoln’s “Big Gay Dance Party
“(Acorn Theatre). He has served as Tony winner Kathleen Marshall’s associate
choreographer in the Broadway productions of “Anything Goes” starring Sutton
Foster, “The Pajama Game” starring Harry Connick, Jr., “Wonderful Town” and
“Little Shop of Horrors”. He also
directed/choreographed a tour of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”,
the Mexico City Company of “Victor/Victoria” and choreographed the
National/International tours of “‘S Wonderful” (World Premiere), “Cinderella”
starring Lea Salonga, “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” and “Oliver!”
Paul Miller,
Lighting Designer
Paul was the associate lighting designer of the
original Broadway production of “Saturday Night Fever” in 1999. He made his
Broadway debut as the assistant lighting director for “Titanic” in 1997. Additional credits include “The Sound of
Music” (1998), “On The Town” (1998), “The Price” (1999), “The Music Man”
(2000), “The Producers” (2001), “Hairspray” (2002), “Little Women” (2005),
“Sweeney Todd” (2005), “Three Days of Rain,” (2006), and “Legally Blonde”
(2007).
